Alpha

Welcome to my world!

This is me...

I write. I would love to call myself an author, but you need to be published for that, don't you? Of course, after 5 years of trying, I haven't managed to interest an agent or a publisher :(

Much like Don Quixote, though, I keep tilting at that windmill!

I sometimes assuage my ego by reminding myself of how long it took J.K. Rowling to get someone to take her little wizard seriously.

So far, I have written 4 novels.

Inscription in Stone and the sequel, The Griffin's Stone are set in Medieval Europe (then part of Savoy). These are the nearest and dearest to my heart.

My biggest problem with finding a publisher for these? They're too long. Epic length, even after massive editing.

Out of frustration, I moved to two novels set in present day France. Fate Smiles and A Pinch of Fate are connected to Inscription in Stone and The Griffin's Stone in a funny way.

Fate Smiles is about Chloe Kennedy, an author who wrote a book called Inscription in Stone and it is the story of how she sold the book and the movie rights and has now gone to France to film the movie (she, of course, will star as the heroine of the book, Lady Angelique d'Aigle).

A Pinch of Fate is about Courtney Kincaid, an author who wrote a book called Inscription in Stone. After struggling fruitlessly to find a publisher, she wrote a book called Fate Smiles, which she finally sold! It is the story of how Courtney went to France for a vacation and met the man of her dreams.

I saw them as an infinity mirror, of sorts.

Useful input is welcomed!!!
